Judy Clibborn has done an excellent job for the district and is running unopposed. She has worked with others and championed Transportation and Education. Both of these are huge issues for me, my district, and our State. She was a previous Mayor and City Councilmember of Mercer Island. She currently serves as the chair of the Transportation Committe in Olympia.
Steve Litzow is a new person running to replace Fred Jarrett. His ideals seem to be good and more moderate than his main competitor, Marcie Maxwell. Marcie Maxwell has some experience on the Renton School Board. She tends to lean a lot stronger to party Democrat. Litzow's focus is on Education, Environment, and Transportation. He has been on the Mercer Island City Council for the past few years. Judy Clibborn:
