Academy Awards: Best Actor

Presented by Sandra Bullock, winner of last year's award for Best Actress, she (like Jeff) actually spoke to the nominees.  It wasn't as good as Jeff, but she did a good job.


Javier Bardem: Biutiful.  A surprisingly good actor.  He doesn't look it, but has played various roles well.
Colin Firth: The King's Speech. He did an excellent job in this picture and is truly deserving.
Jeff Bridges: True Grit.  He is much more than the Dude.  Last year was his year, but he continues to do well.
Jesse Eisenberg: The Social Network.  A newcomer.  He will have more time to improve and to win.
James Franco: 127 Hours. James has played so many interesting roles.  He continues to bring great creativity and fun to his roles.

The winner is Colin Firth.  No surprise and well deserving.
